Browse Kamado Joe
A Kamado is a ceramic built cooking vessel in which you burn charcoal, early versions have been found dating back over 3000 years! The ceramic construction means less heat is required as it is so well insulated, we have used both the more traditional metal built kettle grills and the kamado and you get at least twice the grilling time out of one load of charcoal on the kamado compared to the metal built kettle grill. It is also far easier to control and the finished food is far superior, a consistent heat really does make for a more tender, juicy result!
Once you’ve tasted food from a kamado it’s simply a case of when not if to get one, they really do cook food that well! Compared to other kamado cookers on the market the Joe leads the way. Quality is superb and importantly a large range of accessories are included in the price which means you can use your Joe for a wide range cooking methods right out the box, from a reverse seared prime rib, through to a low and slow smoked brisket or a roasted ‘beer can chicken’.
The ‘Divide & Conquer’ grill set up is very impressive giving you a variety of cooking levels and options for direct and indirect cooking. Finish is superb and the trolley the kamado is housed in is robust with oversized locking castor wheels for ease of transportation, an ash drawer in the bottom of the kamado makes for an easy clean up.
Should you require a larger cooking area then you are catered for with the 24” Big Joe or the stunningly finished Pro Joe and those who wish to take their Joe out and about can do so with the compact Joe JR.
A variety of accessories are available ranging from the ‘beer can chicken’ stand, rib rack and the kamado pizza stone, allowing you to make pizzeria quality stone baked pizza.
