Welcome to www.thestovesite.co.uk. Please read these conditions carefully before using our website. By continuing to browse and use this website you agree to comply and be bound by the terms and conditions of use listed below.

The information contained within this website and links to and from it is given in good faith. The specifications given are mainly provided by the manufacturers and we cannot guarantee that the information is correct but we do try to make sure that they are as accurate as possible. Product images are for illustrative purposes only and may differ from the actual product. Colours may also vary slightly from those illustrated.

The website is only intended as a guide. If in any doubt, please contact us for advice.

It is your responsibility to ensure that the product you order is suitable and fit for the purpose. Solid fuel appliances should be fitted by a HETAS engineer and gas appliances by a GAS SAFE engineer. Please click on links for further information. 

Any free items on offer are only available at the time of placing your order and must be added to your shopping basket. We are unable to send any out free of charge at a later date. This offer is not available with the purchase of electric and balanced flue gas stoves.

PAYMENT

Payment must be made in full at the time of order. However, on certain stoves a 25% deposit can be left if the stove is not in stock and has to be ordered in for you. This deposit can be paid by debit or credit card over the phone. 
All prices shown on this website contain Vat at the current rate.
Payment can be made online by debit or credit card. Please note we do not accept American Express or Diners Club cards. Payment can also be made by bank transfer.
If you wish to pay by bank or building society cheque, please make it payable to Manor House Fireplaces Ltd and write your name and address on the reverse. Your order will be dispatched when the cheque has cleared.

The Stove Site reserve the right to change the advertised prices at any time.

DELIVERY

We aim to deliver all orders within 14 days but delivery times can vary due to the product, manufacturer and also the time of year i.e. during the winter months and especially just before Christmas. We will often deliver your order earlier if it is available.
Next Day, Saturday and Timed deliveries are available for a surcharge. Next Day delivery is only available when the stove is in stock and ready to be despatched. If you would like a quote for any of these services then please contact us.
We would advise you not to book a firm date for installation until the item has been delivered. We cannot be held responsible for loss in any form due to late delivery.
Delivery is free to most of the UK on stoves purchased over £300. However, some postcodes in Scotland and offshore may incur a surcharge. Please see our Delivery page for details and costs.
Deliveries are usually made by a heavy goods vehicle with a tail lift. The courier will telephone in advance to arrange a suitable delivery date (between the hours of 9AM and 5PM Monday to Friday). Please note that the carriers are not insured to bring the goods into your property and you should ensure that there will be someone available who can take the goods inside.
Please arrange an alternative delivery location if there is a problem with access to your property (e.g. graveled or uneven drives, narrow lanes etc...) The carrier will make an additional charge if access is unsuitable and also if there is no one at the delivery address to inspect and sign for the goods.Please do not sign for any goods until unpacked and checked in full. If any items are damaged please notify the driver and sign the note 'goods damaged'. If the delivery driver will not wait until the goods are checked please sign for as 'damaged', do not sign unchecked. Stovesite must be notified within 24 hours of any damage otherwise we will be unable to claim under our carrier's insurance. Goods signed for in good condition cannot be replaced if they are subsequently found to be damaged.

RETURNS

We understand that, on occasions, you may need to return a product. Our returns policy is as follows.
Under the Distance Selling Regulations you have the option of cancelling any order between the time of placing it and 14 calendar days after delivery. You must contact and notify us of intent to cancel the order either by email or by calling our showroom on 01484 846055. You then have a further 14 days in which to return the goods. Please do not return any items back to us until you have spoken to us or if you have emailed please wait until we have either called or emailed you back with instructions on how to proceed with the return.
The goods must be in the original packaging, never installed, completely unused in anyway and in a fully re-saleable condition. Any returns that don't meet these requirements will have to be sold through our special offers page and will incur a charge that will be deducted from the refund processed. 
We can arrange for collection, which will be charged at the carrier's rate for your area, or you can arrange your own return. If you do arrange your own return we recommend that you use a tracked and insured service as the goods remain your responsibility, even when in transit, until they have been returned to us, been inspected and are signed for. Please be aware when packaging the products to be returned that we cannot refund for products we recieve that are damaged. In order for them to reach us undamaged please make sure they are extremely well packaged.
The full original payment, less any charges, will be made to you within 14 days of us having received and inspected the goods.
